CALIFORNIA CLEAN FUEL REWARD
SAVE UP TO $1,500 ON NISSAN LEAF
The California Clean Fuel Reward is available to anyone who buys or leases a new electric vehicle with a battery capacity greater than 5 kWh. The customer must register the vehicle in California and the customer must reside in California.
This instant electric vehicle reward is offered on a sliding scale, depending on battery size, up to $1,500.
Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Rebate
Up to $800
As an electric vehicle (EV) owner, you're contributing to a cleaner energy future by fueling your vehicle with electricity. PG&E customers with EVs are eligible to receive an $800 Clean Fuel Rebate for their use of electricity as a clean transportation fuel.
Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP)

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) promotes clean vehicle adoption by offering rebates of up to $7,000 for the purchase or lease of new, eligible zero-emission vehicles, including electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell vehicles. As long as funds are available, eligible California residents can follow a simple process to apply for a CVRP rebate after purchasing or leasing an eligible vehicle.
Clean Vehicle Assistance Program (CVAP)
Up to $5,000
As a Participating Dealership of Clean Vehicle Assistance Program (CVAP) the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program provides grants and affordable financing to help income-qualified Californians purchase or lease a new or used hybrid or electric vehicle. Our goal is to make clean vehicles accessible and affordable to all who qualify.
Clean Cars For All (CCFA)
Up to $9,500
Boardwalk Nissan is a participating dealership of Clean Vehicle Assistance Program (CVAP).
Your household income and the vehicle you choose will determine the amount of money you can receive from this program.
The average clean vehicle costs $22,000, and the average Clean Cars for All incentive is $7,500. The average loan financing for purchasing a replacement vehicle is $14,500. Additionally, up to $2,000 of funding is available for a Level 2 charger equipment and installation if you purchase a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) or Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). Peninsula Clean Energy
$1,000 Rebate
If you live in San Mateo County and purchase your first EV, Peninsula Clean Energy will offer you a $1,000 rebate for new all-battery electric vehicles.
This rebate is only available for eligible EVs purchased from October 1st through December 31st.

Why make the switch? Electric vehicles cost significantly less to run, have lower maintenance costs, and emit 25 times less emissions than gasoline-powered cars. New electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles have significantly increased driving ranges. The average commute in San Mateo County is about 44 miles round trip, easily in the range of a fully electric cars.
