Nissan's commitment to sustainability is most evident in the vehicles that roll off their production lines, like the zero-emissions Nissan LEAF. And most recently, the all-electric version of the automakers NV200 cargo van, which is currently in being tested out by a fleet of FedEx Express drivers across the pond. The 2012 all-electric Leaf from Nissan is easier to come by now that models will be released in 36 states. Over in Europe, Leaf EV's are still new. In order to promote the electric car, Nissan is giving away rechargers. 400 quick charger devices will be delivered to EV charging stations across EU. During an announcement made about the giveaway, Nissan said the devices are essential to making EV-driving mainstream.

Drive Electric: Part Two

During the fall of 2010, Nissan's "Drive Electric Tour" gave drivers across the country the opportunity to feel the difference of the LEAF EV first hand.
